The Vegan Petsitter is a professional pet care company in San Pedro, California, and we are looking for exceptional animal caregivers to join our team.

The work will initially consist of pet sitting and dog walking visits, with the option to branch out into training and behavior in the future. We are looking for individuals who wish to grow their work with animals into a career, not just a temporary job.

You are:

• detail oriented, able to follow instructions and ask questions when needed
• interested in animal wellness and behavior, and eager to keep learning
• committed to following a positive training philosophy
• someone who works well independently, as well as part of a team
• an animal lover, including cats and dogs of all sizes

The position:

• is part time to start, with room for growth
• includes opportunities for mentorship and training
• has a primary service area in San Pedro, CA
• requires a reliable car to drive between clients, and occasionally transport pets
• requires some weekend and holiday availability
